We offer four cabin sizes for hire across Northland. The two smaller cabins are dry sleepouts. The two larger cabins are fully self-contained with bathroom and kitchen facilities.
The 3.6m x 2.4m cabin is our most compact option and our most affordable. It fits comfortably on most Northland properties and suits a single person well. From $65 per week on a 12-month term.
The 4.8m x 2.4m cabin gives you a third more floor space. That extra room makes a real difference to how the cabin lives day to day, with space for a proper bed, a desk, and storage without it feeling tight. From $120 per week on a 12-month term.
The 6.0m x 2.4m cabin steps up to fully self-contained living with a shower, basin, continuous gas hot water, and a kitchenette. A practical choice for anyone who needs to live independently on site. From $230 per week on a 12-month term.
The 7.2m x 2.7m cabin is our largest cabin. It has the same bathroom facilities as the 6.0m but steps up to a full kitchen with a stove, bench, drawers, cupboards, pantry, and overhead storage. The extra width makes it feel noticeably more like a home. From $255 per week on a 12-month term.
A Few Things to Know Before You Call
No building consent is required in most cases, as our cabins are classified similarly to a caravan. Resource consent may be required depending on your boundary setbacks, so it is worth checking with your local council if you are unsure. The site needs to be flat or near level, with at least 3.5 metres of clear space around the cabin and a minimum of 1.5 metres from the boundary. Appliances are not included, and delivery and pick-up start from $150 for local Whangarei deliveries. Ask for a quote for other areas. Minimum rental period is 3 months across all cabin sizes. Two weeks notice is required at the end of your rental period.
